Three-Deuce Suited

32s is one of the lowest suited connectors. Its main value comes from wheel straights and disguised two-pair hands, so it needs a cheap entry and usually a deep stack. It is primarily a big blind defense rather than an open.

Open when:Button or Small Blind, with a very loose steal chart

Its suitedness gives it enough coverage for a few late-position opens, but not from early position.

3bet when:Almost never as a bluff

It has no high-card blocker and performs poorly when called by a strong opening range.

Call when:Defending the Big Blind

Closing the action lets it realize its wheel and low-board potential. a late-position open at a favorable price.

Jam when:Only when a short-stack chart

A generic jam with 32s relies too heavily on folds and is not a default tournament play. the position support a shove.

Fold when:Early open, large 3-bet, or shallow stack under ICM pressure

32s makes too many dominated pairs and weak draws to continue without a clear price.

Flop classes

Wheel straight

On 6♣ 5♦ 4♥, 32s makes a six-high straight with A-2-3-4-5 unavailable because the ace is not on the board, so the actual made straight is 2-3-4-5-6.

Wheel gutshot

On A♦ 7♣ 4♥, 32s has a gutshot to 2-3-4-5-A through a five. It does not have an open-ended draw.

Conditional four-card flush draw

On Q♠ 8♦ 4♠, 3♠2♠ has a four-card flush draw. A generic 32s cannot be assigned that draw without its exact suits.

Strategic notes

Versus 3-bets

Fold almost always. The 3-bet range contains too many hands that dominate its pairs and draws.
Continue only when the Big Blind price, position, and effective depth leave room to win a large pot after making a disguised straight or flush.

Post-flop playability

32s can flop a low made straight when the board supplies the needed consecutive ranks. Check the five-card sequence carefully before treating the hand as a draw.
A low ace-containing flop can give 32s a gutshot to the wheel through a five. It is not an open-ended draw and should not be priced like one.
On a disconnected high flop, 32s usually has no pair or direct draw. A backdoor straight or flush requires the exact ranks and suits, not just the suited label.
