Pocket33 - Privacy

Last updated: 2026-05-30

Pocket33 is designed to work without user accounts, subscriptions, or server-side personal profiles. Most app state stays only on your device or in your browser storage.

What Pocket33 does not collect

We do not ask you to create an account to use the viewer, the hand library, or the daily trainer.

We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, postal address, payment data, or identity documents through this site.

  • No sign-up flow
  • No checkout or payment processing
  • No user profile stored by Pocket33 for normal site usage
  • No server-side storage of your study history for the core product flow

Local data stored on your device

To keep the product practical, Pocket33 stores some technical state locally in your browser or on your phone. This helps the app remember your language, trainer progress, recent trainer history, and a few session-level navigation details.

On Android, local notification settings and reminder state can also be stored locally so the app can schedule on-device reminders.

  • Language preference
  • Daily trainer session and recent question history
  • Local reminder state for on-device notifications
  • Temporary session navigation state used to restore a route

Website analytics

The public website includes Vercel Web Analytics. These analytics are collected only for visitors of the website and do not apply to users of the mobile app. According to Vercel documentation, this analytics product is cookie-free and built around anonymous, aggregated measurement rather than persistent cross-site tracking.

Vercel states that visitors are identified through a hash derived from the incoming request, valid for one day only, and not meant to track a person across different sites or across different days.

Analytics may process technical information needed to produce aggregate traffic reports, such as page URL, dynamic path, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate geolocation, device type, operating system, browser, and event timestamp.

Pocket33 currently uses the default page-view analytics integration and does not send custom analytics events containing personal data from the app code in this repository.

Who receives data

Most product data used by the app stays local on your device.

For the website analytics layer, Vercel acts as the hosting and analytics provider for traffic measurement related to the website.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use the site to build advertising profiles for users.

Retention and control

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you clear browser storage, reset app data, or uninstall the app.

Analytics retention and infrastructure-level processing for Vercel Web Analytics are managed by Vercel within its service. Pocket33 uses that service only for high-level website usage reporting.

If you want to remove local Pocket33 data, you can clear your browser storage for the site or remove the app data from your device.
