Versus 3-bets
  • Continue selectively in position when the 3-bet range is wide and the price leaves room to realize the suited equity.

  • A small 4-bet bluff can exist against a range that folds enough, but it should not replace a value-based decision.
Post-flop playability

  • Top pair: An ace with a nine kicker is usually a pot-control hand against action from a tight range.
